CNC Mill capabilities; we have a new 2009 HAAS 4-axis CNC mill. This machine has a side mounted, 24 auto tool changer. With a 2 speed geared head with 10,000 RPM capability. It is set up with a Renishaw probe system for both tool and part setup. It also has the ability to generate on machine inspection, similar to a CMM. With full rotary capability, this rotary also has a large Trunion table that can be attached for multiple vices, or parts can be bolted directly to the table by the very diverse bolt and dowel locations on the table surface. Parts can be re located in the same position for multiple part run’s this speeds up the production of large part runs. This Trunion table helps speed up 3-D profile machining and also helps to eliminate some setups because some of the parts can be machined on 3 different surfaces in 1 setup. This machine can easily be modified to be a 5 axis machine if needed.
